2010 K.O.P. Events

Want to be in the know for upcoming events in KOPs? Then you have come to the right place. From Lock-Ins to K.O.P. Store openings, you can always know what is going on:

Bi-Monthly K.O.P. Store Openings:

  • February 21
  • April 18
  • June 20
  • August 15
  • October 17
  • December 19

Kids On Purpose Lock-Ins:

All Lock-Ins begin at 6:30 pm on a Friday night and end at 9:30 on Saturday morning. The cost is $15 for 1 and $10 for each sibling. Kids without a church home are free. For those wishing to sponsor a child’s attendance, dontions are always accepted. Please see Rick for more information.

K.O.P 2010 Lock-In Dates:
All dates are subject to change.

  • Spring: March 19-20
  • Summer: July 16 -17
  • Fall: November 26-27

Special Sundays in 2010

  • March 21-March Madness: Show your ACC team pride by wearing shirts, hats, etc.. for your favorite team
  • April 4- Eggzstravaganza: Easter egg hunt, egg related games…
  • May 23- Backwards Day: Wear your clothes backward and get extra coins
  • June 20- Sundaes on Sunday: Kids get to make ice cream sundaes; bring an unchurched friend to get extra coins
  • July 4- American Pride: Wear red, white and blue
  • August 22- Wet and Wild Day; Bring a towel, a change of clothes and come ready to play water games
  • September 19- Bring Your Parents to Church Day: Parents are asked to stay with their children in GBH; lesson on the family, games, family fun
  • October 31- Bible Heroes Dress up: Dress as your favorite Bible character
  • November 21- Starts with “t” day; Wear items that start with the letter T
  • December 19: Silent Night; Holy Night: Be very, very quiet…we’re going to have fun!
