What is Kids on Purpose?

Have you heard the news? Something different is happening in God’s Big House at Integrity. That’s right, the Integrity Children’s Team is now designing their own weekly lessons and format, called Kids on Purpose. Using the 5 foundations of the purpose-driven church: connect, grow, reach, serve and worship- we are developing lesson approaches that implement these important purposes on a weekly basis. Our team meets each week to create unique Bible teaching methods to help children understand Biblical truths in a personal way.

These teaching methods employ a variety of hands-on activities such as games that encourage connecting with others and making guests feel welcomed, service and reach projects like making shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, Bible lessons that include learning through object lessons, role playing, and other interactive learning methods and even live music.

Each week the children are encouraged to earn tokens which can be redeemed for prizes at a later date. These tokens are earned by bringing their Bible, good behavior, answering questions, Scripture memorization and bringing guests. We are also using tickets to determine our helpers throughout the service. These tickets determine which children are chose to hold the flags for pledges, who are the game captains, acting roles and a myriad of other weekly activities.

So come see what our K.O.P. program is all about. You are sure to have a great time!
